…And with this hair-raising ending, I leave you all with a special announcement: A Deviant Mind is going on hiatus for a few months.
There's no help for it, really–my schedule doesn't allow me to work on two series at the same time, and House of the Muses has suffered greatly for it. I'm a little jealous of my new baby here, so to speak. In a few short months it's met and surpassed the popularity of the House of the Muses series, although I find it curious that I haven't sold many of the Deviant Mind comics as of yet except for a handful at MidOhio Con.
House of the Muses started out as an obligation of sorts, and then turned into a labor of love. The present waning of the series troubles me a bit, and I've come too far to abandon it now.
So I'm going to resume work on the last three issues of House of the Muses, endure the sagging ratings of it, just so I can call it a job well done. It is simply the way of things. This time will also give me more opportunity to look through the ancient notes of my early writings of A Deviant Mind, elaborate on the plotline (because it certainly doesn't end here) and it will debut here again when it's ready. It will also make sure I deliver the best damn story possible. It will be worth it in the long run. The story's still writing itself as we speak.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for coming along for the ride. I didn't do a half bad job of bringing this old story back to life, and here's to many more years of stories to come.
