When Tara sees what's left of her home solar system, she's left feeling empty…and a little bit sick. And even as she's echoing her own words from A Deviant Mind #1: "I can't go back", she's still trying to come to terms with the possibility she might truly have done this. Those words may hint at an emotion-filled incident from an earlier time she no longer remembers, but presently they only goad her onward.
Sometimes the simplest solution IS to turn back…but we're not always built that way, are we?
