I'm stunned to report this news, because Joe Kubert was a massive influence on me, as much as so many artists. I collected so many issues of Sgt Rock, Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, and countless others. I know artists Roy Duncan and Paul Shelley once studied under Joe Kubert, a dream I had but never fulfilled, and the comic world has lost a Titan. Joe Kubert, you were the very heart and soul of adventure. We will dearly miss you.
