Translation Note: The Japanese in that penultimate panel translates to "Awaken, Death Dragon!".

Also, the effect in that last panel is a reference to the reiatsu/Spirit Power from the anime series "Bleach". You know, the effect that you see whenever characters, especially Shinigami/Soul Reapers "power up" for Bankai.
