A Well Lit Path
Author notes

rasenkai onHello, folks.
Collaborative work is kind've weird. The way we plan out a comic is… well. Here's basically all the notes I give to Alex for this page.

And then it somehow turns into this, it's quite amazing but when I do this I forget to take into context Alex's art. If you've seen any of my work you can see it's more cartoonish, and humor is, in all situations, exaggerated. Having only written for myself all of my dialogue ends up a little, well, over the top and as a result there always seems to be a rather visible dissonance with the dialogue and the art style.
But as Alex stated if I were to change the dialogue afterward and then replace the page and ask you guys later if you had noticed the responses would have probably been along the lines of, "What? Oh, ok, cool. Now update more, assholes."
Amazingly this will not deter me or my actions.
So keep in mind as you're reading this that you're reading the work of an individual whose major is to essentially decide whether or not a cut for a video should be at this frame, or the two frames after it. Or maybe the frame before because it flows better into the next shot.
Or, shit, why don't we just trash this entire shot and move this last shot up to here but cut it three frames earlier because then… see? Genius.
