    I had no idea there was a proper hand for that, but you're right, I probably could have stuck her arm out farther or something. I'm probably not going to change it, but thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. :] I'll be more careful next time.

    You can't tell she's thumbing a ride in the first panel. She's using the wrong hand, and you don't lift the arm up like that.

    You could put more info in the first panel caption like "She needed a ride and she looked harmless enough", so you know the story is about a hitchhiker.

    I was worried about that. :[ The guy picked up a ghost hitchhiker who stole the nuke codes when she disappeared (presumably the nuke codes were in the car with him). What does it look like happened to you? Maybe I can figure out what I did wrong.
