gonna respond to nickguy's comment here, because I assume other people have his problem with the issue and aren't speaking up.

The tone of this issue is supposed to be generally upbeat, there are jokes but I wasn't really aiming for horrible sitcom funny…just mildly amusing. The purpose for the mood should become apparent by next issue. I guess this is one of those issues that likely doesn't stand well by itself but should make sense and work as part of the whole.
