and here's where I try to clear up the mess that is Cassie's name. This is explained in the next page, but I feel like going over it now…but basically her dad is Chinese (explaining her last name), and her mom is Japanese. She gets an English first name because the family plans to leave Japan and go to America or Canada, and they think she'd fit in more with that name, but they never gather the money to move. So it backfires and has the opposite effect.

I blame it on the fact that I created her when I was 14 and did no research whatsoever (I actually did some for this issue…). I think this is a decent save, though.
