So, today we have Chris’ introduction into Advanced Placement. Now, I know what many of are thinking “Chris has already been introduced”, but that was not in the main comic. Here we actually introduce him in the story arc of Advanced Placement with a comic that focuses on him.

When I am drawing a comic, Chris is my second favorite character to draw and write for (first being DJ), and it has really bugged me that I have not been able to include him in any of the current comics. When writing for DJ, many of the gags are either visual or obviously funny; when writing for Chris, however, I get to be a little more subtle with the sarcasm.

In the story of Advanced Placement, Chris is really a second star, and, because of that, I decided to introduce his theme second. Very similar to DJ, Chris’ personal journey will attack his lack of motivation. Throughout his life, Chris has been successful at everything he has done, and in turn, Chris feels very little need to initiate anything in his life. In the future, however, he will see the problems that this lifestyle can lead to.
