All is right in the world, as Jordin Sparks is now American Idol. After the travesty that was Taylor Hicks and how long Sanjaya lasted in the competition, I was losing faith in the free world. Well, Jordin won it, so all is right, at least as far as American Idol is concerned.

As I’m sure many will notice, the comic is up a day early. I am going to be seeing Pirates of the Caribbean tonight, and open at work tomorrow (5 in the morning), so I figured taking the current comic down a day early would not hurt anyone to ensure that the update is on time.

Today’s comic was a little tricky, because I had to figure out how extreme I wanted to make DJ’s change. In the original planning for this comic, I had DJ push Chris, but I voted against that. In the end, I want DJ to be redeemable, and if I have him be too mean, that is not possible, at least in the short time we have for this episode (only 3 more strips). By having the change be more of a “game” that DJ is playing, there is no risk of the characters not forgiving (of course they would forgive him, it’s my work, but for characters to believe it).
