The house-apartment-flat thingy where Lena lives and where Sierra/Maki is jumping to and fro from are called HDB (housing development board) flats in Singapore :D they're quite common here. they're usually tall buildings with lots of about five-to-six-rooms-flats inside. the newer ones are more spacious nowadays, though :D
