When you become powerful, you become used to getting your way. And when that doesn't happen, well, a shattered ego can lead someone to do… rather drastic things.

In the forums, I've seen people talk about fan service like it's a bad thing. They say that something should be done because it has to be done, not to make the fans happy. I don't believe that. Yes, I will not bend so far that the fans basically write the whole lot of this story, but I want people to read this comic, to enjoy it, to keep coming back and leaving nice comments.

And what's wrong with fan service? Yeah, it can be just a shameless grab for fans like in Chugworth and the old version of Lowroad, but that was made them fun to read, aside from the humourous jokes. I mean, yeah, if it's all fan service with nothing else to really draw you in, then it's not a good comic. But if the formula is done right, it can be something everyone can enjoy.
