- The Ghost Chase Ride from Segaworld

I stood in line for that ride twice (It was an indoor roller coaster) ten years ago and I still remember that poem. Which is weird because the place closed down about seven years ago. Too bad though, I miss it. It was a themepark based on video games. There was another place closer to home called Hide and Seek which was an indoor playground filled with plastic tunnels and such, with a hall or mirrors, a secret room and these two really huge slides.

Really hate it when big places like that have to close down because they can't afford to keep open. The arcade near Hide and Seek, which owned the place, was called Intencity. It was this massive place that had arcade games old and new, from the first Pacman to the latest Street Fighter. That was until it closed down in '99.

Then there was Wonderland, one of the most cherished theme parks in New South Wales. Every year, my high school would take the year 9s there for a mathematics excursion. You just filled out these papers saying how tall the rides were and such, then for the rest of the day they didn't care what you did. Went there enough times to make it a special place in my heart.

It's a shame, all these great places I went to as a kid are closed down now. I guess that's a part of growing up, something I've been doing in the past few weeks. Of course, my inner child still controls me most of the time, but I now know I can be an adult when I need to be.

Also, sorry about the lack of pages, but I've been really busy lately and don't have a buffer (Though Rokas does, so it's all my fault). And as you may or may not have noticed, I've gone back to dodge/burn form of lighting. Looks a little more natural, I think. And other people told me they prefer it, so I'm trying it out. But, I've been looking for another colourist for when the workload gets even bigger, but no takers yet, so who knows.

Have a pleasant weekend

~ David
