And now for a little expositition on why Zodek found that sword so off putting.

I've been writing a bit of prose lately. The story that's been taking my interest was originally supposed to be a short story about vampires and revenge and crap. Right now, it's over 40 pages and I am nowhere near done.

Why bring this up? Because it's set in a medieval world, with magic and dragons and things like that. Just like AoE. That's right, vampires and dragons all in the same book. So far, it's very Anne Rice meets George R.R. Martin and I am loving it.

I can't believe I almost forgot what it was like to write with mixed genres. I haven't felt this way about a story since I wrote the Fatum Chronicles novel (That was sci-fi/fantasy/war. Was fun to write). I really need to do it more. Who knows, this one might even get published.
