Okay, this one is three hours late. I'm sorry. I had issues with scanning it in.

Anyways, it is up now and available for your enjoyment.

There are some more pop culture references that I'm going to address in the following paragraphs…

1. The entire top half of this strip is a reference to the 1948 John Huston film entitled The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. One of the most famous scenes in the film is when Humphrey Bogart and company are stopped by a group of Mexican banditos who are (poorly) impersonating police officers. When asked to see their badges, the head bandito responds with the "stinking badges" line.

This line is also repeated in Blazing Saddles, a spoof on Westerns directed by Mel Brooks.

2. "El Kabong" is an alias used by Quickdraw McGraw, an anthropomorphic cartoon horse animated by Hanna Barbera. El Kabong is a parody of Zorro, and his trademark move was to yell "Kabong!" while smashing his adversary in the head with an acoustic guitar.

For the record, I don't consider El Kabong to be racist. I'm just really fond of the phrase "el kabong" and for some reason I think whuppin' people in the head with a guitar is funny.
