Air Raid Robertson
on

I'm a little nervous about this one. It features nothing but talking heads, which can be tricky to draw as a comic strip. Also, it features a multitude of characters working through a variety of plot points. I forced a whole lot of crap into six panels. I think that it all flows okay, but I'm not certain.

Appearing in the first panel is The Ghost. He is yet another public domain comics character from the 40's. I've wanted to create a character to be Air Raid Robertson's rival for a long while now. Still, when I heard of this guy's existence I knew that he had to fill the "rival" role.

The Ghost is a very minor hero of Golden Age comics. He was largely a back-up feature in an anthology comic and was quickly forgotten. He did, however, have an epic battle with The Claw where he ended up "killing" him. This may come up in a future storyline where The Claw returns. (This won't be for a while)

The bad guys spying on our heroes have also appeared elsewhere. They are, however, original creations that I came up with at the tender age of six. They're surprisingly durable characters that I've been sporadically using ever since.

However, I haven't used them in a comic since I was in high school. So, I feel a bit nostalgic towards the idea of incorporating them into Air Raid Robertson's world. I'm not sure if you readers will dig them, but they'll be here anyways.

Regardless, it's nice to see them again.
