I'm not entirely sure about this strip because its emphasis is on Ridley's predicament. My basic formula for each Air Raid Robertson strip is equal parts "gags and silly jokes" as well as "stuff that moves the story along".

This one doesn't really move the story along all that much. It merely informs you that Ridley is going to have to wear a paper bag over his head for the entire rest of the story-arc.

Oh, well. There's always the next strip.

By the way, the mayor of Moon City is modeled on Georges Méliès. This is the gentleman who, among other things, directed the 1903 silent film "A Trip to The Moon". As I said in a prior strip, much of the architecture and fashion of Moon City is crap I stole from that movie. I figured this would be a good way to cap off the homage.
