Well, what do you know? I got myself featured. Many thanks to the drunkduck staff for choosing to feature me. I greatly appreciate it.

Naturally, I am very happy about this. I extend a welcome to all the new readers. Hopefully some of you will like this strip enough to stick around.

Anyways…

The giant spider monster in panel one was worshipped as a god in Fantomah's jungle when we first met him in the "Welcome to the Jungle" storyline. He's fallen on hard times since then, however. This led to him being hired by Air Raid Robertson as a butler during the "Trip to the Moon" storyline.

My sisters are very fond of him, so I shoe-horned him into this page.

And yes, Air Raid Robertson and Ridley are going to help Fantomah kill some zombies. I couldn't help but make them resemble Black Lanterns. (And I even threw in a Black Hand-looking zombie among them) Don't worry though, aside from the costumes these guys are a totally different thing.

Krull-Gor was the bad guy of the "Welcome to the Jungle" story. Fantomah fed him to a pack of starving wolves at the conclusion of that arc. He'll also be a key antagonist for this story-arc as well.

The other zombie was a guy that Fantomah killed waaaay back in a Fletcher Hanks comic from 1940. He was trying to chemically brainwash a bunch of apes into a superarmy of sorts before Fantomah took him out. (I thought he'd be a fun cameo)
