Air Raid Robertson

This strip signifies that I have done fifty pages of Air Raid Robertson. I think I've definitely progressed over the course of these past fifty weeks. I certainly know a hell of a lot more about making webcomics than I did when I began. I mean, I've been doing this for almost a year now. Hopefully I picked up something.

Nonetheless, writing and drawing Air Raid Robertson has been an absolute joy for me. I am thankful for both the opportunity to continue and the great response that the strip is beginning to receive. Thanks to everyone, new readers and old.

Anyways, I really wanted to get this storyline rolling as soon as possible. The last one had a subplot about Ridley and his sister. And, also, there were a bunch of new characters as well as a metric ton of exposition. That's all well and good in moderation, but I wanted this arc to "get back to basics" a bit.

And so, I have put Air Raid Robertson at his destination during the third entry to this storyline. I also threw in some dinosaur mayhem to boot.

When I first envisioned this series I knew that I wanted to eventually put my title character in a Jules Verne/Arthur Conan Doyle-esque locale such as this one. I also wanted to draw one of those tunneling mole machines you see in old sci-fi pulps from the 30's. It's good to nail two birds with one stone.
