I originally envisioned the native villagers for this particular locale to be relatively humanoid. However, there's not really any fun in that, is there? So, in order to milk even more Jurassic wonder out of my setting, I decided to make them dinosaur people. The males are patterned after the styracosaurus. The females are based upon the protoceratops.

This is a very transitional strip. Its main function is to move the plot along to its second and final Act. I was afraid that this segment would be a bit dry though. So, I added in a part where Ridley tries to teach Fantomah how to box.

I've read a couple of comics where Superman or some other such powerful figure temporarily loses their powers. Typically, a non-powered superhero like Batman will attempt to train them in hand-to-hand combat once this happens. I always thought that these scenes were adorable and I wanted to do something in that vein.
