Air Raid Robertson

This is the first page to a new Air Raid Robertson storyline. As you may have noticed, this page is done in a manner that imitates shonen manga. My more specific influences in this department include Goseki Kojima and Shirow Masamune. Future pages will reference other prominent manga artists.

Like most shonen manga, this storyline will be in black and white. This will allow me to update several times a week instead of just once, but I also have a few new challenges here. It's much easier to give off the impression of visual depth and tone while using color or greyscale. Putting things up without such embellishment requires me to rethink my approach to linework.

Overall, I think this is an okay page. I hope that my illustrative technique will improve as I continue working.

I expect this sequence to last around five pages. Maybe six.
