I keep forgetting to mention this, but I've taken a new approach to my art in this comic strip beginning with the first page of this storyline.

Regular readers will notice that I stopped cross-hatching. All the shading is being handled by the colors rather than the linework. I got the idea while reading some Jack Cole issues of Plastic Man. The early issues had a lot of dense linework, but the later ones simplified the economy of line greatly.

This was done because Jack Cole had to produce a larger volume of material in a shorter amount of time. Still, I think the lack of cross-hatching suited the tone of his stories a lot better. And, as you may have guessed, I suspect this may be the case for Air Raid Robertson.

Not much in the way of action or jokes in this page. I think it was just set-up. That'll change with the next strip though, so don't worry.
