One of my favorite Hollywood directors from the old days is Howard Hawks. His philosophy for making a good movie was for every film to have "three great scenes and no bad ones". I have kept this notion in mind from time to time while making my comics.

I don't know if this is a bad page. It's certainly not a great one. It's mostly just exposition that moves the plot along. I don't think there are any funny bits in this particular strip. (Well, I think that Ripley's drugged out song is cute enough)

I think I have the rest of the storyline locked down, so I'm sure it will be clear sailing from here on out.
