That's Just Plane Crazy! Part 1

I have a pretty ambitious storyline for Air Raid Robertson coming up. I was planning on starting it in a week or so.

However, Air Raid Robertson's 100th story page is just around the corner. I thought it would be perfect for me to begin this ambitious storyline on the 100th page.

This left me with the problem of having seven pages to fill until number one hundred came up. I had some utility strips lined up, but there were still five pages left that needed to be dealt with somehow.

I then thought of a thing I did earlier called "Ridley's Style Meme". In it, I took my character Ridley and rendered him in a variety of illustrative styles. One of these styles was that of an old Walt Disney cartoon from the late 1920's.

This particular drawing of Ridley seemed to be popular. It led me to thinking about how much of a hoot it would be if I were to do a parody of "Plane Crazy", an early Mickey Mouse cartoon that has an aviation theme.

This seemed like as good a notion as any for a five page story. I hope you guys like it.
