As you may have figured, this is the penultimate page of the storyline. The next page will wrap things up and then I'll move on to some more silly one-offs before we get to Air Raid Robertson's 100th com ic book page.

Ridley's comment about the seat belt was in my earliest draft of this story. It felt really satisfying to finally put that one on the page.

I wanted the bottom panel to reflect the plane crash that Mickey Mouse experienced in "Plane Crazy". I thought it was odd that the animators showed the plummeting from Mickey's perspective. They also wrote out the sound effects on the screen. (Probably because the cartoon was silent and didn't have any sound dubbed in until after "Steamboat Willie")
