Those of you who actually read my comments will note that I have an ambitious storyline planned for Air Raid Robertson. However, I feel that it would be best for me to begin this storyline with the 100th page. It just feels right to do it that way.

I still had three pages left to kill after "That's Just Plane Crazy" ended, and I was stuck over what I should do with them. At first I was just going to do three one-off pages. Instead, I decided to go with a three page storyline. I know that's a tight frame, but I think I can make it work.

I've been doing riffs and variations on Air Raid Robertson for a while now. I've done a childhood version of the character (Lil' Air Raid Robertson) and a funny animal version (Air Raid Arfington). It seems to make sense to create a future version as well.

This story will be set in a mold similar to that of Spider-Man 2099 or Batman Beyond. In other words, we're dealing with a new person who is taking up the legacy of the title character.

As you may have already figured out, another key influence on this story is Judge Dredd. This character is a gruff, take-no-prisoners lawman in a future world created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra. He's also one of the most popular ongoing characters in the British comic book world.
