Flights of Fancy Part 10

At this point I think it is pretty clear that, for this story, I'm using the plot template for about ninety percent of the issues of Marvel Team-Up.

In other words, there are two protagonists who are initially set against each other through a bizarre misunderstanding or a devious set-up. After a bit of fighting, this misunderstanding or set-up is sorted out. And, once that's done with, both protagonists decide to band together in order to take down their mutual adversary.

Yes, it's a formula. Still, I think it's an effective one for a crossover. There are so many possible variations to this format. And, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I think I put a fairly unique spin on this sort of thing.

I'm really glad that I can start work on the final third of the story though. This middle part became something of a slog to work on, especially with all the grey I had to use in the parking lot. It gave a nice contrast to the intense colors of the action panels, but it still felt like a bit of a grind here and there.

This next part, however, gives me plenty of opportunity to draw some razzle dazzle stuff. I can't wait to get started.
