While I was doing the research for an Air Raid Robertson noir story I drew a pin-up of my two main characters in a Frank Miller style. The image in panel one is derived from that initial sketch. Waste not, want not.

One thing I want to keep in mind about Sin City is that the panel count per page is fairly low. There are tons of splash pages and there are rarely more than three or four panels per page.

Also, Frank Miller is really fond of playing around with perspective. He especially likes using overhead angles in his establishing shots. I'll work that into my own story wherever that fits.
