A concern I had going into this page was how I was going to depict the falcon. I had an inkling to color it blue since I wanted to both convey its importance to the plot and also point out that it's a statue rather than an actual falcon. However, I already had the lady on this page with pink coloring.

As I stated earlier, Frank Miller often uses flat color on objects in Sin City to signify their importance. However, he has never used two different colors on the same page. The Sin City film, on the other hand, did not hesitate to do such a thing. So, ultimately, I went along with it.


In retrospect, I would've just kept the falcon in black and white. It's too late for that though.
