Air Raid Robertson

My layout for panel one was considerably different  from what you see in the above image. My first instinct was to simply show Air Raid Robertson and Mrs. Lovett  glaring at each other from left to right. I thought that this image lacked impact, so I shifted the "camera angle" in order to put Mrs. Lovett in the foreground. This looked more intense, but it kept the reader from seeing Mrs. Lovett's facial expression. I didn't want that to be the case, so eventually I thought to place a mirror in the background of the panel. I don't want to pat myself on the back too hard, but I do think it came out looking pretty nice.
When I first thought up this story I was under the impression that it would last about ten pages. Sometimes a plot will run off into territory that a writer doesn't expect it to, but in this instance it appears that ten pages was a correct estimate.
