This is the penultimate page. It ended up looking a bit different from my first draft, which will naturally require some adjustments on the final page.
For one thing, I had intended to resolve Air Raid Robertson's precarious dangling on this page. I believe, however, that I ran out of space where I could do this, fit in all the other stuff I wanted to do here, and then somehow make the page flow seem organic. Ultimately, I came to think it helps the narrative to have Mr. Robertson remain in peril at the end of this page.
Also, my earlier draft went from Mrs. Lovett nervously brandishing an axe directly to Ridley in the midst of handcuffing her. I thought that this a bit jarring, so I inserted a transition panel where Ridley grabs her arm. I think this boosts the sequencing of page exponentially.
I'll be wrapping things up with "Rhapsody in Beige" shortly. I hope to see you for the finale.
