Air Raid Robertson

It's not quite October yet, but considering the small number of pages I posted in September this still seems like a good time to begin this year's Halloween story. Like last year's entry, I drew this one with moody shadows inspired by Gene Colan's wonderfully spooky artwork from Marvel's Tomb of Dracula. Also, in a nod to horror anthology comics like Tales From The Crypt and Creepy, I reinstated the presence of the host character Governor Ghastly.
Another parallel to last year's story is the theme itself. The previous Halloween story, "Real Estate Nightmare", used the classic 1922 silent film Nosferatu as a storytelling springboard. This year's tale also sees Robertson and Ridley interacting with a figure from a horror film released in the 1920's. I won't divulge which character yet, but there are a few unsubtle hints in the above page. One should be able to figure it out.
