As you can plainly see, this storyline has a lot of chatting and very few explosions. It's pretty tough to make dialogue-heavy scenes visually interesting. It's still something I struggle with.
One trick I've learned, however, is to make one's characters more active. I have them pace the room, sip tea, light a cigar, pour a drink, and make hand gestures. This makes things look a bit less static.
Actually, a lot of my efforts have been directed at giving my characters a bit more verve with body language. You can definitely see that if you compare the 2010 pages with the 2011 ones.
