I think this storyline can be viewed as the purest mission statement I've ever had about the concept behind Air Raid Robertson. Robertson belongs to the archetype best exemplified by Don Quixote. However, Air Raid Robertson also lives in a world where his crazy fantasies actually turn out to be 100% right on occasion. This doesn't happen often enough for our hero's bizarre conclusions to be reliable, but it does occur often enough for all the other characters to question their own sanity.
 
On a different note, the toughest panel to draw in this story thus far is definitely the first panel on this page. Some folks may think that a comic book artist is most heavily challenged by drawing explosions and big action sequences. For me, however, I always feel the need to exert the most effort into small character touches such as the squire helping Medieval Air Raid Robertson back to his feet. The punching and the blowing up of things is generally a lot less complicated to lay out.

Anyways, this page will probably be the halfway mark for the story. Unlike my last arc, this one has been tightly laid out and doesn't really have many moments where I'm making things up as I go along. I don't mind surrending myself to a muse and just going with the flow. Sometimes that leads me to good places I never would have gone to if I premeditated everything in advance.

On the other hand, doing one thing tends to make me want to do the other.
