The second panel of this page was drawn from a reference photo I took of myself. It took a lot of attempts before I managed to get my webcam to snap a pic of me that I wanted to use. Naturually, I considered a worm's eye view of a giant about to stomp something an essential shot for this story. So, sometimes an extremely goofy waste of time is necessary.

It has come to me that I haven't fully explained where the title of this story comes from. It shouldn't come as a shock that it's derived from Don Quixote. The maxim "The proof is in the pudding" is widely attributed to Cervantes. It goes without saying that there is some dispute over whether or not that's actually the case, but it's too late to keep it away from him at this point.
