As you can probably tell, this storyline is going to be one of the longer ones. And, by Air Raid Robertson standards, a lengthy storyline is about fifteen to twenty pages. I'm not certain at the exact duration though. I'm mostly working from an outline that contains various scenes and beats that I wish to hit upon before concluding things. I'm guessing that it'll take closer to twenty pages before I take care of everything I want to.


Since this story has a wider arc than others I'm forced to do pages like this one. The closest thing to a joke on this page is Dr. Schaffenberger's comment about colorlessness. (And I wouldn't exactly call that one a gut-buster by any means) I'm always fearful about writing dialogue that lacks the wry dialogue that I feel fuels any appeal of this comic strip. However, for stories like this I do feel compelled to devote some narrative to constructing the plot.
