Don't worry, long-time readers. You didn't miss a storyline where Ridley got court martialed. A couple of years ago I was asked why Ridley was in a position subordinate to Air Raid Robertson. After all, he comes off as smarter, more capable, and more experienced.

I decided that Ridley must've suffered a fall from grace at some point. He was on the fast track to becoming an officer, but a horrible incident resulted in him being blacklisted and eventually forced to become Air Raid Robertson's sidekick. I have vaguely referenced this in earlier storylines, but I have yet to give a detailed account.

The "missing shoe" comment is taken from a conversation I had at work earlier in the week. Of course, that remark was meant in jest. Ridley seems to be using it in an entirely different context.

I only did nine pages of Air Raid Robertson for the month of April. Then again, I did an extra page for January so that may even it out. Regardless, I still feel obligated to put up an extra page in order to make up for missing my deadline.
