If you don't recall what they are talking about go back and read the story Shaqedown.

One of the reasons this story is more decompressed than the last is to focus on the characters a bit more. One of the downsides of older trek and it's episodic nature was that characters rarely had any fallout from traumatic experiences, I hope to do more with that sort of thing and this section is touching on that.

Technical stuff.

I created the set for this page in a matter of minutes. I wanted a simple fighting ring so that's exactly what I made. it's a sealed cylinder with an inset ring light going around it.
