–EDIT: March 10, 2008, 7:30 P.M.–
We finally figured out the problem. Apparently the power source broke on Randy's computer, and we're still trying to fix it. We'll leave a new update a soon as everything's up and running again.

Thank you for your patience.

–EDIT: March 3, 2008, 8:53 P.M.–
Due to certain technical difficulties (computers can be a real pain in the a**), Randy and I may not have Page 3 ready in time for the usual update. While we may not be able to make the Tuesday deadline, we will still try to post the next page as soon as possible.

Thank you,
~Dave

Man, this page is basically to me and Randy what Page 19 of Book I was to Jason when I was working with him (if you don't know what I'm referring to, and you want a quick laugh, go back to "Book I: Written by Man; Page 19" and read the comments). The first time Randy sent me the page, it didn't go through, and there was a problem with his computer where it didn't save right, so he almost had to start over completely from scratch. Several weeks later, Randy's photoshop began acting up so that when he tried to move around certain layers of the page, the entire image would become horribly pixelated, although that's finally been fixed. I then sent Randy an e-mail saying I would use the page he had sent me, only to find, just the moment after I hit the "send" button, that it had a nasty typo in it that could have created a big misunderstanding, which could very well have brought about the end of this project. Long story short, I sent him a second e-mail, got back in touch with him, and we both got a laugh out of it in the end.

Anyway, on a totally different note, for those of you who aren't into cellular biology, "lysis" is when a body cell ruptures, either from physical damage or infection by a pathogen (such as a virus).

That's it for now. I have to get up tomorrow morning and do manual labor for about 3 hours for a Horticulture class (college can suck sometimes). We'll see you all again next Tuesday!

…..*(whispers)*…the page is laughing at me…..

~Dave
