Cthulhu fhtaghn!…just kidding (by the way, those of you who get the reference get a cookie). On a side-note from last week; I've recovered from my surgery and am already up and about, so here I am!
Anyway, I'm putting in the comments early and letting the auto update take care of this one, so by the time you're reading this, I'll have already demolished about half my neighborhood (and neighbors) with a variety of explosives, as I do every year to celebrate the independence of our country. So if you see me on the forums between now and next week, you'll know I've survived with at least most of my fingers intact (who needs pinkies, anyway?)
Anyway, on to the page itself. Deimos has finally awoken from his nightmare, and as you can see, Jason has changed his art style a bit from the previous chapter. Since I'm a writer and not an artist, I really don't know what terms to use to describe it, although Jason repeatedly used the word "organic." What I will say, though, was that I watched- in awe, I might add- at how he laid out the lighting effects with the boarded up window in the bottom right panel.

See you all next week. In the meantime, go out and celebrate the independence of our country by blowing up a small part of it!
