Live from Perdido Key, Florida: it's meeeeee! I'm currently writing in after having watched a Blue Angels' air show while out at sea, while at the same time acquiring third-degree sunburn on roughly 90% of my body. Seriously, there's nothing like having the first two layers of your skin seared off to get you up and moving about.

Anyway, I know this chapter seems to be off to a slow start (save for last week's page), but trust me, things will start to get interesting, if not outright creepy, in the next couple of pages.

And speaking of the last page, I'm thrilled to see that even after we were gone for a whole year, so many of you still waited for us to come back. In fact, it's beginning to look like some of our old fan-base is starting to return. So thanks, all of you.

Anyway, now for comments on the page itself. The thing that I think stands out most is Deimos's "captions." The whole idea of having text standing against a "dark cloud" was entirely Jason's idea, while I wanted to go with a more conventional "box" caption form. In the end, we decided to go with his idea. And now that I'm looking at it here, I think it actually looks pretty cool, so we're going to run with it.

Well, that's all for this week. I have a mask made of skin falling off of my face from the aformentioned sunburn, so I'm going to log off now.
