Oh, man. This page was pure hell for us. We started the linework back on the first of this month (we were trying to start setting up a buffer of pages for this chapter), and then we weren't able to finish it until last Friday. While it didn't come close to driving us insane like some other pages have done in the past, it still turned out to be a real pain to finish.

Anyway, the insanity continues. This page shows to what extent Deimos's hallucinations can really go. When it came to actually drawing them, I never really gave very specific descriptions in the manuscript, and left most of the creative process up to Jason, and we were both really pleased with the results. In fact, the only real input I had on this page, as far as Deimos's "crazy-vision" goes, was the idea to put a hole in the back of the zombie-man's head. And the stitch-faced woman in the middle-panel still really scares the hell out of me every time I look at it, in a "Silent Hill/House on Haunted Hill" kind of way.

Anyway, I have to start preparing for upcoming grad-school. So we'll see you all again next week.
