Hah! I'm back! Take that Jason! Forgive me if this update seems incoherent at any point; I'm still only semi-conscious after recovering from a turkey tryptophan-induced coma…from last Thursday.

It took a longer time to draw the top panel than we thought it would (mainly because we had to go back and look at several reference drawings for these critters), but we had a lot of fun. Although for some reason, the giant monster's face reminds me of Giygas from Earthbound.

We were kind of unsure about what to do with the caption in the top panel, since we've gotten so used to having Deimos's speech bubbles, have that "smokey/whispy" outline, or having his thoughts appear as blue text against a black cloud. Hopefully just keeping his font type ("I Want My TTR") consistent, it'll be enough to make a smooth transition.

It seems that Deimos is finally driving the point home through his verbal beatdown on the Mayor. But for what purpose? Tune in next week to find out!

Anyway, the trytophan is starting to kick back in, so I'm going to go pass out on the couch now.
