Before I get started on the bit about this page, I'd like to share a bit of news.
Those of you who live in the Baton Rouge, LA area (where I live) may already be aware of this, but it SNOWED here Friday night. This may not seem like such a big deal to those of you living farther up north, but down here in Louisiana, we're used to living in heat upwards of ninety degrees in 100% humidity (where you risk drowning just from walking outside and breathing), and where Winter only lasts 2-3 weeks. Granted, it was barely an inch, and most of it melted as it hit the ground, but ANY amount of snow is a big deal down here. Needless to say, I got about 5 phone calls within 5 minutes from people I know (and one wrong number), telling me to come take a look at the snow outside. We're just so unused to seeing this kind of weather (this would be only the fourth time in my entire life that I've EVER seen snow), that most of us Louisianians don't know what to do when this sort of thing happens; it's like the apocalypse to us…snow flakes freak us out…
Anyway, on to the page.
As you can see, Jason has gone completely nuts while having fun with the glare effect (as you can tell from the top panel), so let's hope I can stop him when the story finally takes our characters outdoors, where there are no windows. Unlike the last few pages, the dialogue on this page was a lot less painful for me to deal with (which was a big relief for me).
It seems that Deimos is indeed painting a bleak picture of the future, yet ironically, he seems to have some reason to stick around or help. But is it because he wants to (yeah, right), or is there some ulterior motive behind it? Keep reading and you just might find out.
That's all for now. Tune in next week, here at All Saints on The Duck!
*Looks out window* Is that a snowflake?! Aaaaaaaahhh! *Runs away screaming*
