Finally! We're back! Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but recently, Murphy (the same guy from Murphy's law), came out of nowhere for another bout with me and Jason and totally screwed-up our world. Jason has been having certain issues at work, which seem to have finally been resolved, and I'm still getting used to grad school (which I've learned- the hard way- is a lot more involved than being an undergrad). And to top it all off, I was recently the target of identity theft (thankfully that issue has also been resolved, although I'm still expecting to get a lot of phone calls from people I've never met asking for money :-p ).
Anyway, it seems that there's also some problems with the auto-update here on DD, with some comics displaying the wrong update dates. So in case it doesn't update on time, this page is intended for 1/31/10.
Now that we've gotten all that straightened-out, let's get on with the page. *BAM!* WALL OF TEXT!
I know enormous paragraphs of text on pages are generally frowned upon, but this page is more about Deimos's inner-monologue that what's going on around him (for the moment, at least). As a result, this page was rather simple for Jason to draw, and I barely had to do any editing for the dialogue, which has to be a first for this chapter. I was especially pleased with the first paragraph (I like alliteration; can you tell?).
Once again, it seems to think to himself in a totally different manner than how he speaks to others. But whether is this is due to him just hating people in general or for some other reason remains to be determined.
