Hello, and welcome back everyone. Anyway, it looks like Genejoke and I are settling on a once-a-week update for Interlude II for the time being. Anyway, minus some remaining bugs left over from the server move, it looks like everything's back to normal on DD.
Anyway, just repeating from last week, for those of you who didn't catch Page 1 of Interlude II, All Saints has been picked up by Key Hole Comics, a studio run by Randy Haldeman, the guy who did the graphics for Interlude I. Once again, I recommend you take a look at his site over at http://www.keyholecomicsstudio.com/
And now with that said, on to the page breakdown. Originally, this and the last page were meant to be a single one, but because of the sheer amount of text involved (not to mention the general stigma against the whole "walls of text" in comics in general), Genejoke and I ultimately decided to break it and the following pages in half. And as lengthy as these e-mails between scientists are, having worked with a number of professors (as well as having to deal with large companies and government agencies on their behalf in some cases), when it comes to scientific publications, e-mails can in fact get VERY lengthy.
And as for the locations mentioned, yes, the Robert Koch Institute is a real place, and yes, it's named after the same guy who came up with Koch's Postulates (for those of you readers who aren't microbiology nerds, suggested readings are:
