I spent two-weeks writing and drawing a bunch of one-panel cartoons as an exercise. Some of them turned out okay. I got some great comments and advice from some generous NZ cartoonists, and redrew a few per their instructions.  I sent them off to a couple of publications, but heard nothing back.  They will appear throughout as little one-panel interludes, sometimes related to the previous bits.
