You may think that Angela is a powerful alchemist; she isn't. All she has done is what countless other Vampire Lords have done before they abandonned their creations as failures. Angela can't innovate in alchemy, she can only follow recepies. Her mother, on the other hand, is a freaking genius. Better than Edward Elric, but not as good as Van Hohenheim, comparitively speaking.
