Chapter Two, Page 15
threeeyeswurm onI noticed that DD really lowers the image quality of the pages. You can read our pages at a better quality at our official site: Anatta.epidigm.net
Anise wanted to take a break from coloring this week and so I finished off the colors on this page. It was kinda fun but tiring to do all of drawing, inking and coloring by myself. It probably looks a bit different but I did the best I could (within the time I had). Hope everyone likes it!
Anise and I have been watching and reading A LOT of sci-fi. I kinda had a J.J. Abrams week, watching the Star Trek movie and the first 9 episodes of Fringe. To be honest, I wasn’t hugely impressed. Yeah, Star Trek was entertaining but that was it. It was just entertaining. It didn’t suprise me, didn’t make me think, didn’t make me question, didn’t make me feel. Maybe I am biased because I never watched the TV Shows. Perhaps I would have a greater appreciation if I did. Fringe is similar. It has interesting moments but never go beyond that. It also tries too hard to keep each episode as a self-contained story when the most interestng parts of the show is its overarching mystery.
Oh and by the way, for those of you who haven't noticed, I have uploaded the coverpage for Chapter One.
I know it's kinda late, but I wanted to reply to the webcomic recommendations people posted as comments back on page 12 of chapter 2.
@Doctor Shadow: I do read and thoroughly enjoy your comic! I like the Pirates of the Caribbean feel to it without the unnecessary(and often stupid) action and the boring romance. Love the witty dialogue too.
@khard12: Out of all the webcomics you mentioned, I've only read Pheonix Requiem (I think everyone has). So I will definitely check out Girl Genius as well. In fact I saw a printed copy of it at my local library!
@the2ndredbaron: Hehe. Dude I totally read your comic. How can I not when you are my biggest sponsor? :D
@TheMidge28: We are always trying new and different ways of doing our pages so yeah they will keep evolving. Glad you like the line art!
@SoItBegins: Thanks for the recommendations! Love the art in EvilDiva.
@DAJB: I saw our comic in your recommended comics a long time ago and I was so happy especially because I am a fan of Shades. Thanks for promoting our comic!
@sifueagle: I've read your comic before and I liked it. In fact I wrote a review for it in the forums. Thanks for the recommendations! I will check them out for sure.
