For those who don't know: An enemy faction known as the Council have a couple of super soldier programs, and one of them is the Dark Vampyri. Basically, they're humans who (after conditioning and very unsafe surgical enhancements) drain the lives out of their victoms. They're also hideously ugly. I find them in the Crimson Cove at night, but they're rare.

Everyone hates my one-liner in panel three. Meh, fine. I'll change it later.
